The other group members live in the area of Cagliari. As well as in Sardinia, TANCARUJA, do present themselves at the "mainland", where they are accepted with great enthusiasm of the public, who is always enveloped by intense sound and rhythm of the dance group. Between 2001 and 2005 the group participated in several festivals, competitive, or exposure, where received significant awards, and mainly international recognition. TANCARUJA makes a music of "proposal" and not just a song of reminiscence or disclosure. His work is the fruit of several years of research, not only by the kind philological passionate or documental, but it also implies a careful and profound knowledge of the musical material of music Sarda, due to continuous listening and studying the masters of the traditions, and also using the memory of the elders All this creates a material with no stereotypes, but full of "contamination" and influences, where tradition blends with innovation, to a proposal that wants to be original, but starting from a strong tradition of reference. The challenge is to achieve a balance between the aesthetic rigor of the tradition of innovation and freedom.
